Another year has stumbled in and staggered out leaving a trail of weirdness behind it. Every Friday morning John Robson, the Indiana Jones of gratuitous bizarreness, ends his session with host Steve Madely on News Talk Radio 580 CFRA in Ottawa by counting down his five strangest stories of the week.

And strange they are. Hacking through the antics of beasties, crooks and other weirdos isn’t easy, at least to hear him tell it, because there’s just so much to choose from. But each week five exquisite gems of peculiarity are selected for special display.
